Grants and Financial Supports
Helping You Make the Most of Solar with Financial Support
At South West Solar, we want to make the switch to renewable energy as affordable as possible. Thanks to various grants and funding options, both homeowners and businesses in Ireland can reduce the upfront costs of installing solar panels, EV chargers, and other green energy solutions. Below, you’ll find details of the available grants, eligibility requirements, and links to apply for these programmes.
We Handle the Application for You
At South West Solar, we take the hassle out of applying for grants by handling the application process for you. The Solar Electricity Grant, administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), provides a once-off grant towards the purchase and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels for your home.
To qualify, you must apply for the grant and receive approval from SEAI before installation begins or any work is carried out. Don’t worry—our team will guide you through the process, ensuring that your grant is secured, and we’ll take care of all the paperwork on your behalf.
