  • Monitor and Control: With Zappi, you can monitor the exported power from your property and adjust the charging rate to match the surplus energy generated by your solar panels.

  • Self-Sufficiency: Charge your car with free solar energy, making the most of your renewable system.

  • Smart Set Timers: At certain hours, ‘time of use energy tariffs’ are significantly cheaper. With Zappi, you can use the ‘boost timer’ option to start charging at times with the lowest rates.

Zappi Modes:

  • Eco Mode: A blend of green energy and power imported from the grid. This mode minimises grid usage, with charging power continuously adjusted based on energy being generated or used elsewhere in the home. If solar generation drops below 1.4kW, the grid will provide the additional energy needed.

  • Eco+ Mode: In this mode, charging power is adjusted to match surplus energy. If imported power exceeds your desired level, the charger pauses and resumes only when surplus solar energy is available.

  • Fast Mode: Charge your vehicle at maximum power, whether that power comes from your solar panels or the grid. This mode ensures your EV charges as quickly as possible.
